Sturbridge Lakes Tennis Courts Reopened With Special Rules For Covid-19

Dear Sturbridge Lakes Resident:

As a first step in reopening facilities for our residents during the Covid-19 crisis, the tennis courts located on Barclay Lane have been opened for resident use, with very stringent rules.

Please read carefully the 3 items below before deciding whether to use the tennis courts. While we can mandate certain precautions, we cannot guarantee anyone’s safety. In fact, we are obliged to ask anyone using the tennis courts to agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Association from any damages resulting from Covid-19.

If you don’t want to agree to these rules or to indemnify the Association, that is up to you. However, in that case simply do not use the tennis courts.

These rules have been carefully thought out and result from many hours of consultations with professionals. Please understand they are necessary to the continued existence of the Association, without which we would not have our common grounds facilities.

(Note: We are preparing for a possible swimming beach opening, which will require even more new procedures. We hope to announce that plan in the next week.)

The 3 items below are: 1 Covid-19 Tennis Court Rules; 2 Notice of Covid-19 Dangers and Agreement (if you use the tennis courts) to Hold Harmless the Association and Related Persons; and 3 Link to USTA Covid-19 Safety Guidelines.

Please read carefully:
