SLA Trustees Meeting Notes

Meeting called to order at 7:33PM
Bill Sabia & Kyle from Merrill Lynch addressed the board regarding investing association funds in a diversified investment portfolio account. The board will make decision by next meeting (March 4th).
Board approved minutes from January 15, 2020 open meeting
Board reviewed Financials and Arrears Reports. Board asked to check with association counsel to determine if Association can send letter to delinquent owners stating that they are not permitted to use common areas and restricted from association events for failure to pay association assessments
January Invoices were not approved. Board Signers did not receive invoices in their queue. I will check with accounting department to find out what is problem with invoice system. (Corrected as of 11:24am Thursday)
Board approved Goose Control Technologies Addling & permit proposal for 2020 year. We will ask Goose Control to request homeowner permission to check for nests on homeowner property
Board reviewed H & H recommendations for various issues in community. Regarding homeowner on Barclay Lane draining water onto common area: drainage line should be on homeowner’s property – not common area. We were advised by landscaping company that damage to common area will occur if drainage line is not moved. Regarding tennis court parking spot drainage – Ask H & H to provide quote to correct the problem
Board approved H & H proposal to grade Battery Hill parking lot at cost of $300.00
Board voted to not lower lakes in 2020
Propane Grill purchased last year is not working properly. Management will contact company to determine problem and ask for local repair representative.
ADR will be scheduled – Awaiting call from committee for date
Resale log was reviewed.
