Board approved Candlewood 2019 Lifeguard Contract. It was noted that the contract had significantly increased in price due to factors outside Candlewood’s control. New Jersey has raised the minimum wage which significantly affects labor costs and the NJDEP is now requiring test results for beach water testing in 8 hours rather than 24 which has increased the testing labs cost which is passed on to Candlewood. This increased cost will likely result in at least a $10 dues increase next year.
Board approved changes to Beach Reservation form
