Hardy Sturbridge Lakes residents challenged the chilly waters of Foxview Lake to support Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. $625 cash and wishlist donations were collected.
After balmly temperatures all week, the thermometer nosedived to well below freezing in honor of the Polar Plunge event. The air temperature was just at freezing for the event making it a chilly outing. Hot chocolate was served to the survivors.
