Please Register and Attend Zoning Board Zoom Hearing on LED Billboard This Thursday at 7PM
The Zoning Board zoom hearing on a proposed LED billboard across from our Signal Hill entrance will continue this Thursday May 12 at 7PM.
The meeting should start with public comment – our chance to be heard.
SLA plans to testify.
It’s vital for homeowners to appear and express their opposition on the record. It will also be helpful if you signal your support of the Association’s effort by attending.
For an idea of the negative impact of the proposed billboard, take a look at the existing LED billboard on Rt. 73 a mile North of us.
The bright sign, and the 50 foot concrete monstrosity holding it, dominate the view for a half mile all around.
That’s why billboards are NOT supposed to be allowed on our residential stretch of Route 73. However, the Zoning Board is seriously considering allowing the LED billboard here, even though it violates the township’s zoning plan.
